Effective representation on appeal requires a skill set distinct from trial advocacy. In working with clients and trial counsel we seek to identify key issues for appeal and structure argument to achieve success.

The attorneys at Brown & Weinraub, PLLC have significant experience in federal and state appellate practice. Our appellate practice attorneys have argued and/or briefed in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals, as well as the New York Appellate Court and the Court of Appeals of the State of New York.

In addition to handling appeal, we provide critical services at the level to stem and shape the trial record for a successful appeal. Several of our attorneys have devoted their practice to the specialty area of election law appeals.
